I'll keep running....
Because it gives me perspective.
Now I realize my problems aren't so big.
My life is pretty great afterall.
And a mile is a lot longer than it seems in the car.
Same run home from work as yesterday, felt a bit sluggish but still got home in just about the same time (based on how far through my playlist I got because my watch died!)
My quads were having none of this run today! Probably because I forced them to play volleyball Monday night after my run..... sorry guys! Found a way to avoid all the pedestrian traffic in Harvard Square (and only add 1/4 mile to my run) by cutting down to the river at Central Square... good call, the run is so much nicer without stepping on people who won't get out of the way!!
Started off horribly slow after a few too many days off. The good old busted up ankle felt like it was on fire and was shooting those flames all the way up my leg with every step...OUCH! But then around the halfway point when I wanted to give up I picked it up and cruised home almost a full sprint for the last about 2 minutes
