Finally got to run again today!!!!!! I almost didn't do go (I think the depression of not running for almost 3 weeks really got to me) but once I got out there and started going, man did it feel good! I felt everything just drift away and all I was thinking about was every time my foot hit the road. The leg felt pretty good while I was running, though it did hurt a bit after but mostly just sore, not the stabbing pains that it was. I know the doctor said just do a 1/4 mile then take a day off then do it again then day off then up it to 1/2 a mile and so on...but I couldn't do it. A 1/4 mile seems pointless, I did 3.4 and could have done more but didn't want to push it too much. I am running the stinking 1/2 marathon in 2 weeks no matter what!!!! [28:23] 8.24 pace
