I'll keep running....
Because it gives me perspective.
Now I realize my problems aren't so big.
My life is pretty great afterall.
And a mile is a lot longer than it seems in the car.

4.89 miles in 42:38 [8:43 average] ...little walking bits in there too

I'm back!  I've been slacking big time on the running since the marathon in January, did a few races, 2 5Ks, 2 10Ks, a 15K, a 1/2 marathon, and the kayak and 10K legs of a triathlon but I didn't really do all that much training in between them... just sorta winged it.  But now I am trying to get my mind (and body) set on the surf city marathon in Huntington Beach, CA in February so it's time to get serious and back on a plan!  I have been walking the 1.5 miles each way to and from the train to work most M-Fs in the beautiful fall weather too.  So I am going to try to keep track on here again to push myself to keep running!

Still not calibrated....

I was looking at your splits for the Josh. Insane! You ran a 44 for the 10k! That is really fast like 7 flat or just over pace per mile! You're going to dominate the marathon when you go in February!

I don't think those splits are right... my watch was screwy and I hadn't calibrated it yet...Josh time says I did the run in 50:42 I think...I'm not sure of the exact distance though, the site says 6 miles on one part, 6.2 on another, and I heard a lot of people saying it was 6.4 so I don't know what happened! I think it was closer to a really high 7 or low 8 pace... my last 10K in Cali was 7:52 pace
