I'll keep running....
Because it gives me perspective.
Now I realize my problems aren't so big.
My life is pretty great afterall.
And a mile is a lot longer than it seems in the car.

gun time:  40:35 (took a good bit to get to the start line with almost 1400 people so I am thinking I was damn close to my goal of breaking 40:00 especially battling all the wind off the ocean!)

283 out of 1358 overall

86 out of 752 females

19 out of 100 females age 25-29

I was really psyched I felt great the whole race (other than freezing to death!) I held right at 8 minutes per mile the whole way and didn't slow down like I usually do for the 2nd two miles!  After the race I felt like I could have run faster but I was happier to be able to stick to a pace and sprint super fast past 11 people in the last 100 yards or so!  Such a fun race!!
