I'll keep running....
Because it gives me perspective.
Now I realize my problems aren't so big.
My life is pretty great afterall.
And a mile is a lot longer than it seems in the car.

Ahhh Boilermaker weekend!!!  Probably the best race ever!  Beat last year's time by 10:32 even without training for the past 2 months so next year I hope to actually train and do even better.  It was a super hot sunny day in Utica, no clouds and the only shade I remember was at the golf course hill around mile 3-4.  So I felt pretty good at the start and took off running, dodging the 13,000 runners and found a good pace and stuck it.  By the 10K I was so hot that I started feeling a little sick and was questioning my ability to finish without walking...oh no!  I slowed it down and took some ice and held on for the last 2 miles or so that were killer but I did it and I can't wait for next year!  This is what I needed to get me started running again! And thanks to Hannah's wonderful family for lodging and feeding us again this year!!!!!
