I'll keep running....
Because it gives me perspective.
Now I realize my problems aren't so big.
My life is pretty great afterall.
And a mile is a lot longer than it seems in the car.

Oh so I was not ready for this race...as my time shows! Started out ok but within the first 1/2 mile I knew I wasn't feeling it.  At about the halfway mark you pass the parking lot where the race starts/finishes... I decided I was done, walked off the course up into the parking lot, then got mad at myself and walked back down and started running again.  I finished and I'm glad I did, but man did it not feel good!  Went and played some beach volleyball afterwards but I am paying for it all now with pain in my broken face and some nasty headaches.... boo!  Guess I'm not ready to run yet....  =(
